At the beginning of the course, my peer review skills were very minimal. I had done peer revision before but I never thought of the things that I do now. I would comment minor spelling mistakes or sentence and grammar errors. I did not really view the entire essay as a whole and make comments that way. For the higher education revision, I commented minor things but if I were to review it now, I would be able to accurately comment ideas about the entire essay. I could make global revision suggestions and how to strengthen the essay pieces such as analysis or claims. I am better able to see the essay as a bigger picture rather than just small errors from all the practice done in class.
