Applying MLA format has not been easy for me but this essay helped me understand it more. The essay required me to properly cite quotes and complete a works cited page,; two things I am not very good at. I feel that having the steps of the essay such as a plan, revision, rough draft, peer review, and final copy helped me a lot. It helped me fix how I cite my quotes and my sentence structure. Having the last day of class to fix punctuation and structures helped me have a better understanding and reviewed the basics for me so I could be sure my essay was the best it could be. I had trouble with commas, I noticed there were a lot of suggestions on my peer review about that, so I focused on that more. I feel that my sentence structure improved throughout the process of this essay.
