For my post I used audacity to make a podcast. I did my podcast as an interview. I had Julia ask me questions and I responded with answers relating to my Big Data project. I spent about two hours recording and editing it. Coming up with the questions was difficult because I had so much to say and I had to be sure the questions were able to generate responses that contained all of the information. It was easier to record and edit this time as I was more familiar with the technology now. I think the use of audacity or the video technology is more helpful and efficient than a large group presentation.

I think your approach to this podcast makes it interesting for the listeners as you include another person in an interview style to tell your information on big data. It allows the listener to follow along in an interactive way by hearing the question followed by the source you used and the information found. I found the “risk assessment tools” and the formulas made to identify the risk of defendant and chances of offending again, or likelihood of showing up to court very interesting. I was unaware of this within the criminal justice system so it is interesting to hear the background information used for defendants chances of getting out. I think you did a great job on this podcast, it can be heard and understood clearly, working hyperlink, and interactive way of relaying the information to listeners in an interview style that keeps listeners engaged.
